ABOUT
Florian de Schutter, or Loki, was born in 1996 in Belgium. Early, he travelled around the five continents and cycled through many countries. He first started photography as a photojournalism practice before to question the relation of the photographic medium with reality and to switch towards a more artistic and experimental practice. He started getting interested in light phenomenons of diffraction when he discovered the symbolic role of the rainbow in various mythologies parallely to readings of the pioneers of quantum physics.

Only after, he discovered opals as he was travelling throughout Australia and started developing his own approach with matter and light through the experimentation of nanostructures in studio. Following the same track, he then discovered dragonfy wings.
